G3-RS� Chassis

BSRT is proud to bring the "RS" version of their G3 chassis line to today's slot car racer. BSRT has updated their G3 injection-molded chassis tool to include the last of the upgrades from their "SC" G3 chassis originally shown and released in 2006. This includes more guide pin area clearance, recessed area for rail clearance, and larger holes at the front of the chassis, all features previously seen on the "SC" G3 chassis.

In addition, the G3-RS chassis is being offered in two versions; one with body posts already molded in place and one without body posts. The version with body posts molded in place (designated with a "B" after the part number) is intended for racing where you'll be using lightweight vacuum-formed bodies. The RS chassis with no posts in place is intended for snap-on hard body racing. BSRT's high-quality threaded aluminum body posts (part #HT161) can always be adapted to the RS chassis without posts in order to run vacuum-formed bodies.

BSRT is proud to continue offering the high performance G3-RS chassis in various levels of flexibility. Every G3-RS chassis comes with a traction magnet clip, to retain the traction magnets, and a G3 timing bracket, to hold the endbell in place.

(All G3-RS chassis come out of the same mold and may be used for any class of racing. We recommend the Flexible chassis for low-downforce G3 cars, the Medium chassis for low to medium-downforce magnet cars, the Stiff chassis for high-downforce cars, and the Super Stiff chassis for "drop-in" Neo cars. These are suggested starting points but you may want to try all the available G3-RS chassis to see which version performs best for your type of racing and track conditions.)

- 2-56 Threaded Aluminum Body Posts
(these are the highest quality threaded body posts on the market today. The G3-RS chassis without body posts in place comes with starter holes already molded into the chassis so all you have to do is tap the hole with a 2-56 tap and thread these posts into position. Mounting the body posts will allow you to mount a clear plastic body and, should you want to do some more snap-on hard body racing, you can always screw the BSRT threaded body posts back into position for vacuum-form body racing - set of 4)
